Syndik8 Records, the label that brought you the Parade Changer, Lynxxx and the modern day Fela inspired BlackMagic with his hit single Rainbow, is proud to introduce the latest act on the talented roster, NEDU... a Dancehall Artiste with a fresh sound
. His introduction to mainstream media is coming via the release of his first official single, titled "Action Man." Born Chinedu Ekwuyasi, Nedu moved back home in 2011 after getting his BA in Public Relations and Film studies in New York and he is ready to take the industry by storm.
"I've been doing music for as long as I can remember with the rest of my Syndik8 family," the dreadlocked musician reveals. "Now that I'm finally done with school, it's my time to get out there and share my gift, by the special Grace of God Almighty."
Produced by resident Syndik8 Records beat smith and President, Ikon, "Action Man" is described by Nedu as, "a game changer, full of energy that will definitely get fans and the crowd moving.
"The club banger's inspiration comes from everything dancehall and reggae, as well as some hip-hop and also all the action movies out there, especially James Bond movies," he explains.
"Following my predecessors Lynxxx and BlackMagic, it is my turn to bless the music industry with my talent, bringing a new sound and style to dancehall through my personality and musical genius. The industry deserves a breath of fresh air, something different from the so-called "formula music" the majority of the industry indulges in, " he proclaims. "This is my debut single, so it's my time to show and prove!"
